Grenfell United is a group representing bereaved families and survivors (some of whom feature in the campaign) from the Grenfell Tower fire. The film by director Tom Cockram and Conrad Swanston of London-based ad agency Who Wot Why, part of the Breakthrough Network is titled #DemandCharges.
The film uses evidence from the ongoing Grenfell inquiry as part of the campaign. In a social spot, survivors are surrounded by boxes of documents and call out claims against the cladding company, ending with the line: ’All this evidence, still no closure, still no action, still no justice #DemandCharges.’
Previously, the group rallied behind a #DemandChange campaign, but has ramped up calls for the Metropolitan Police to charge the companies responsible for the fire.
